Partner dancing class is on at 6.30 pm till 7.30 pm This class will incorporate beginners level moves and is suitable for beginners but will also cater to those who have experience. We dance with partners to learn lead and follow. There are no set routines, and we learn new content every block.
You do not need a partner as we rotate partners throughout the class.
Solo Jazz - and routine-based swing 7.30 pm till 8.30 pm
In this class we will learn different variations of common swing moves to add into our partner dancing or to be able to dance call and response.
Routines like the Shim Sham and other group dances where we all dance the same steps will also be learned in this class.
Which class do I choose?
Most of our students will do both classes. You can do one or the other if you like.
Thursdays from 5 Feb to the 12 March
$250 per person (for both classes)
$145 for Partner dancing (6 weeks)
$125 for Solo Jazz (5 weeks) Solo Jazz doesn't run the last week so we can all hang out after class.
We ask that you register for the entire block. Attending casually doesn't work in this instance.
Sarah Johnston is our teacher and she is fabulous.
