Ever wanted to try swing dancing? Here is your chance!!
B Swing Lindy offers you the chance to get to know the dances we do - in this 1 h trial class come and discover the Lindy Hop, the Charleston and Solo Jazz. In Lindy Hop, we will introduce you to the 6 and 8 count patterns that we teach in our beginner series and also the tempos that we dance them to. You will also learn the 1930s Charleston which is usually done at faster tempos, as well as some Solo Jazz, which is the individual dance component closely associated with Lindy Hop and Swing dance.
No dance experience needed.
Please come in comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. We do not recommend heels for our dances. Come in shoes that are comfortable such as casual sneakers (not running/sports shoes).
Lindy Hop is a partnered dance but you do not need to register with a partner.
You may choose lead or follow roles regardless of sex.
