About this Event
Swindon Mindful Employer Network presents:
Money matters: supporting financial wellbeing at work
Join fellow mindful employers from Swindon and the local area for vital discussions on financial wellbeing and employee mental health in the workplace.
As part of our Swindon Mindful Employer Network series, in partnership with Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind and Swindon Borough Council, this event will focus on financial wellbeing and explore how money stress, debt, and cost-of-living pressures can impact mental health at work.
Timed around the end of the tax year and with the ongoing cost of living crisis, the session will examine the link between financial uncertainty and stress, anxiety, and wellbeing. Gain insights, hear real-world experiences, and engage in meaningful conversations with other like-minded employers to help create supportive and resilient workplaces.
Why Attend?
Financial stress is one of the most common causes of anxiety for employees and can significantly affect mental health, performance, and wellbeing. Money worries often follow people into the workplace, impacting concentration, sleep, and overall resilience, yet many employees feel unable or uncomfortable discussing these concerns at work.
It is important for employers to understand the role they can play in supporting financial wellbeing and reducing the stigma around money stress. This event will offer insights and practical strategies from expert speakers on how organisations can support employees experiencing financial pressure, promote financial resilience, and create a workplace culture that recognises and responds to the mental health impacts of money worries.
Key Takeaways:
- Understand the mental health impact of financial stress
- Spot signs of money-related anxiety in the workplace
- Learn practical ways employers can support financial wellbeing
- Build a supportive culture that reduces stress and stigma
Our Expert Speakers:
