After a few years hiatus, the SWFL Pride festival returns to Fort Myers on Saturday, November 16, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Alliance for the Arts. Organized by Pride-SWFL, this outdoor event is a celebration of Southwest Florida’s LGBTQIA+ community.The festival will feature live entertainment, including:
Hot Chocolate, the legendary Las Vegas drag sensation, known for her captivating performances as Tina Turner. Hot Chocolate has graced the stage on RuPaul’s Drag Race, receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award (Season 14), and appeared in hit films such as Miss Congeniality 2 and What’s Love Got to Do with It. A Fort Myers native, Hot Chocolate brings their electric energy and star power home to SWFL Pride.
Local Drag Performers, showcasing the best of Southwest Florida’s drag talent.
DJ Mad Mel, Southwest Florida’s very own superstar DJ, who will keep the festival vibes alive with an unforgettable mix of beats. With her high-energy sets and strong presence in the community, DJ Mad Mel guarantees to make this celebration one you won’t want to miss.
Admission is a $5 donation at the door, with VIP tent tickets available for purchase online soon.
Parking is free, with limited onsite parking and additional parking nearby.
Please note, no coolers or pets are allowed, although service animals are permitted.
