Sweethearts of Country Music is a two-hour retrospective showcasing a 100 year history of strong female led and inspired country music.The band will start with the birth of country music in 1927, and show the evolution of lyrics, melodies, and arrangements powered by strong women — from Patsy Cline to Taylor Swift and beyond.
Sweethearts of Country Music will be performed by the two-time winner of the Cowboys Opener, the Ashley Garrett Band. With the voice of an angel, Ashley Garrett is ideally suited to deliver this performance at the legendary King Eddy on October 17.
