Sweet Things & Good Company: A Valentine’s Bake Night

Hosted in the Maryville College Downtown Center, this inviting space features a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen and classroom-like set up with butcher block tables that seat two.

Upon arrival, guests will be assigned a table. There will be a charcuterie cup from The Local Board and a sugar cookie from The Wildflour Bakery for each person to enjoy. Water and lemonade will be provided; guests will have the option of purchasing beer from the bar.

Allison will lead an interactive demonstration in which guests will learn the fundamentals of macaron making and be able to ask questions and try techniques for themselves.

After the demonstration, guests will assemble their own festive 4 inch macaron stack cake to take home. Each table will include pre-measured ingredients and supplies for decorating (such as buttercream, nuts, sprinkles, caramel sauce, etc). Stack cake example pictured above (ingredients will vary).

Mallory Hillis Art will be gracing the evening with her talent and painting a macaron scene, contributing to an atmosphere of creativity and beauty. There will also be a dedicated photo opp spot for guests to capture the evening’s memories.

Cost: $100/pair. This night is designed for pairs…couples, gal pals, baking besties, mom+daughter, etc!

*For those with allergies, please note, macaron shells are naturally gluten free as they are made with almond flour. However, there will be gluten and other potential allergens, such as nuts, present in decoration components and the food provided.
