The Fragrance Alliance Network is excited to present Sweet Scents & Stories: A Fragrant Workshop for Young Explorers, an interactive event designed to introduce children to the world of scent through the magic of storytelling. This hands-on workshop will be led by Alexis Wintrob, childrens book author and creator of Za Za Scent-Sational Super Power sensory products. Through engaging storytelling and hands-on scent exploration, children will learn how fragrances influence memory, emotions, and creativity;all while participating in fun aroma-based activities.
With a career as an sensorial product creator, Alexis was inspired by her time forecasting fragrance and flavor trends and being part of Procter & Gamble perfumer-in-training program. She wanted to share this fascinating world of perfumery with children and the power it has to combine art and science to open their minds to the impact their sense of smell has on the world around them.
The event is perfect for children ages 5 and up, and this workshop blends storytelling with learning as kids discover the fascinating science behind smells and create their own scent memories. Children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. The price of the ticket includes two books and a kit. Chaperone ticket is free of charge. Package includes 2 Children’s books , 1 Scent Story Booklet with 15+ activities, 6 Child-friendly rollerball Fragrances (10 ml vials), Fragrance Blotters, Postcard Craft, and Colored Pencils.
