Make TWO kinds of cookies exploding with flavor! Two "cult cameos" of the bakery with major followings--- Spicy Chocolate drop cookies and Sweet & Salty drop cookies.
Spicy Chocolate cookies: bursting with chocolate but with the added zip of cayenne and cinnamon
Sweet & Salty cookies: toasted pecans, butterscotch, and sea salt make this cookie a classic cult favorite for a reason!
In this class, you'll
- Learn two different methods for making drop cookies
- Make cookies by hand and practice with a stand mixer
- Get tips for drop cookie success
- Adjust spice levels to YOUR ideal
- Learn lots of baking tips you can apply to other recipes
- Learn about the ingredients-- and more
- Meet and learn alongside fun folks
- And you'll take home lots of cookies that you made yourself!
No prior baking experience needed. We will use a stand mixer (new to stand mixers? check out our quick tutorial here). Adults only please (age 15+).

ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES
Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself. You will have your own work table and will complete the entire recipe... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies!
Who should participate? Anyone age 15+ who is looking to learn, wants to have fun, or just enjoys baking in company. (We occasionally offer youth classes for younger bakers, as well as "team" baking classes where parent & child can bake together).
Are classes wheelchair accessible? Our tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you!
What about cancellations/refunds? Classes are small and space is limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date/time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you may gift your ticket to a friend.
You are welcome to wear a mask, but mask usage is no longer required in Muddy's events. If this changes, we will notify participants.
