Spend a sweet Valentine’s afternoon at James River Winery decorating a trio of festive Valentine’s sugar cookies while sipping your favorite wines. This relaxed, beginner-friendly class is all about slowing down, getting creative, and enjoying a little hands-on fun in a beautiful winery setting.

You’ll learn essential royal icing techniques—including outlining, flooding, and simple decorative details—while creating three Valentine-themed cookies you’ll be proud to take home (or gift!). No experience necessary—everything you need is provided, plus step-by-step guidance throughout class.

Ingredients: butter, sugar, eggs, flour, meringue powder, powdered sugar, corn syrup, flavoring, and coloring. Please email [email protected] before registering if you have dietary concerns. All items are prepared in a kitchen where cross-contamination with allergens is possible.

All ticket sales are final. If you can’t attend, tickets are transferable to another guest. Kits will be available for pickup the day after class if you’d like to decorate on your own.
