BOSSIER CITY, LA – March 12, 2025 – Get ready for a star-studded competition that will have Northwest Louisiana singing along! Sweet Caroline’s Dueling Piano Bar is excited to host Sweet Caroline’s Star, the region's premier singing competition, running every Wednesday from April 2 through May 21. This is the third time the competition has been held, and this year, we’re switching things up with a brand-new format!
For the first time, Sweet Caroline’s Star will be modeled after American Idol, where contestants will face weekly eliminations until one winner remains. This exciting new format will feature fresh weekly themes and challenges, adding even more fun and energy to the competition.
Each week, top singers from North Louisiana and East Texas will showcase their vocal talent in a battle for the grand prize. The top three finalists will walk away with a share of $3,000 in prize money. With new themes and exciting twists, the stakes are higher than ever!
Sweet Caroline’s Dueling Piano Bar, located at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City, has become a popular hotspot for live music and unforgettable nights out. The venue’s vibrant atmosphere and community spirit provide the perfect backdrop for Sweet Caroline’s Star, where performers and spectators come together to celebrate local talent and great music.
Jacob Zaffater, owner of Treetop Entertainment and emcee for the competition, shared his excitement: "We’re thrilled to bring Sweet Caroline’s Star to a whole new level this season.
