What: Make your own DIY Sweater Pumpkins out of sweaters from Mission Thrift! Join us of a fun evening of DIY and connecting with other local ladies! Enjoy fall treats, and learn more about Freedom 424's mission!

LYH Women in Business is for women who value finding community where they feel encouraged, supported, and celebrated in every season of life. You don't have to be a business owner or entrepreneur to be a part of our community. We're here to create community for women who are committed to community and connection, helping each other thrive.
Our events provide deeper space for networking and connection with other women who value their work but also desire to live their lives to the fullest.

You can add-on additional pumpkins at check-out, or day of.

Meet Your Hosts: Carrie Wright + Ali Berger
Carrie + Ali are your business hype girls and Co-Founders of LYH Women in Business.
Carrie is an executive coach, keynote speaker, mom and PTA President.
She's been a business owner, entrepreneur, business strategist, brand-builder, marketing connoisseur and consultant and coach over the last two decades. She's led a collegiate yearbook to six national awards, including the highest honor of "Gold Crown" by the Columbia Scholastic Press. She went on to develop the Liberty University Career Center to offer thriving services both in-person and virtually to residential and online students. She served as part of the Executive Team for a multi-unit Chick-fil-A franchise, winning the "Gold" award for "Best Wait Staff" and "Best Kid Friendly" for 10 consecutive years. Using this expertise, Carrie developed an award-winning Hospitality workshop that has received the Lynchburg Business Magazine's "Best Professional Development Workshop" award numerous times. In 2020, I was honored to be named the Young Athena Award recipient presented by the Central Virginia Business Coalition.
Ali is a 3x founder and speaker.
She's ran a marketing/events agency, created + scaled non-profit fundraising events, built various vibrant communities, been nationally recognized for administration.
Ali's heart is to create spaces for for women to thrive at work and in life. After walking through a season of burn out and leaving her job to launch her first business, Ali started to explore the ideas of โworkโ and โcalling.โ
Through her exploration, Ali developed 5 pillars to help women take back thier sparkle: grounding, dreaming, calling, building + celebration. Ali empowers other women to celebrate their past as they walk forward in potential of who they were created to be, and of course, leave a little sparkle along the way.
