The Webster Water Ski Collective is honored to partner with Foxy Travel/FTI Coach and the Menard family to host the 4th Annual "Swaterski to Fight Cancer" event in memory of Christine (Repsys) Menard to benefit the National Brain Tumor Society and Webster-Dudley Food Share.
The "SwaterSki" event will be a dual Water Ski and Snow Ski event taking place on Saturday, November 30th with the waterski portion starting at 10am at Memorial Beach in Webster. The Snow Ski portion of the event will begin at 4pm at Wachusett Mountain. We may do a lunch prior to the snow-ski portion (details TBD).
Skiers can register for either the Water Ski portion, the Snow Ski portion or both sessions. Lift tickets will be provided for those that need them, if you already have a Wachusett Season Pass, the registration fee for the snow-ski portion will be discounted. If by chance, the conditions at Wachusett are not ideal, we will reschedule the snow-ski portion for a later date.
This event is open to ALL SKIERS! You do NOT need to be a member or have affiliation with the Webster Water Ski Collective.
Participants may get their own sponsors to cover their registration fee, and the fees will be tax deductible.
Webster Water Ski Collective will be the host water ski club for the event, and will have ski, life jackets and some wet-suits for use on site. Each participant must be insured via USA Water Ski, and day insurance passes are available for $10.
The Snow Ski portion will be hosted by Wachusett Mountain, and will include lift tickets. Any Rentals will be paid by the participant.
Any donation via check can be made payable to the Webster Water Ski Collective. Following the event, the Webster Water Ski collective will then make a a donation consisting of the full proceeds from the event to the National Brain Tumor Society and Webster Dudley Food Bank. Donors may choose what charity they wish to support when they make their donation. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Webster-Dudley Food Share at Point Breeze on the day of the event.
We recommend bringing proper gear to warm up after, and that you are 13 or older to participate due to the cold weather. This should be a fun event and for a great cause! We will also accept donations if you want to support the cause!
Approximate times for the event:
Registration: 9:30am
Waterskiing: 10am - 12 pm
Snow Skiing:: 4 - 7pm.
