Join us for a SWAP SHOP at Grassroots Kava House, IDEAS For Us Tampa Bay, & Kind Theads! These occur every first Tuesday of the month at Grassroots Kava House 7 pm - 9 pm 957 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33705. Our next event is upstairs.
Bring your gently used clothing and accessories. We also accept other items such as home decor, beauty items, and more! We encourage the public to bring their items and in turn "shop" everyone else's items for free. Please keep it to up to 20 items donated at one time. Don't have anything to share? No worries! Come shop anyways! All unselected items will be donated to a local thrift store or nonprofit.
This is part of an effort to reduce textile waste and to reduce overall consumption. Swap shops are important because they promote sustainable practices by encouraging the reuse of items. They foster community engagement and social connections through shared resources. Swap shops contribute to reducing waste and environmental impact by extending the lifecycle of goods.
