About this Event

Please note that this is an all ages concert performance. Photographs and videos will be taken of the event.

Experience an evening of stripped back songs with local performers and some of WA's best songwriters in Old Midland Courthouse. Swan Song is a concert series partnership between City of Swan Libraries and West Australian Music aimed at highlighting some of the best upcoming West Australian Music Talent.

On October 6th we will welcome Spici Water to the stage!

4-piece indie rockers Spici Water have been attracting a lot of attention in the Perth Music scene. After the successful releases of their two singles "Drunk Texts" and "Tonight", they have gained a lot of traction around Australia and the US. They take heavy inspiration from artists such as Boy Pablo, Spacey Jane, Hockey Dad and Skegss and have created songs that capture the life of a young person living in Australia using topics of love, heartbreak and partying. After their SOLD OUT single launch in August things have been looking up for the band and we should be expecting big things to be coming up for them.

Support will be provided by Aiden Abra.

An 18y/o singer-songwriter hailing from the hills of Perth Aiden has always been close to music. Experimenting with sounds from genres of RnB, Funk, and Indie-pop his range of sound is broad and fun and hopefully entertaining to listen to! From writing his first full song to performing at his High School Talent Contest and coming 1st place with an original song, the energy and excitement has always been there. Now a Music Performance student at North Metro Tafe in Leederville, and coffee addict, the reality that music could really take him somewhere is becoming more possible.

Doors open at 5 and performances start promptly at 5.30pm.

This performance is made possible by support from Act Belong Commit and West Australian Music.

In accordance with hygiene requirements, social distancing will be maintained throughout this program and hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use.

Please book in as spaces are limited. For all inquiries contact Midland Public Library (08) 9267 9020.
