Savannah’s Powerhouse Bluegrass Band, Swamptooth, announces tour to promote 2nd Full Length Album
Swamptooth is set to release Reptiles on a Magazine this February 13, 2026. The band will celebrate by hosting a festival in their hometown at the beautiful Victory North venue. Featuring headliner Larry Keel, The Savannah Bluegrass Festival will celebrate Swamptooth’s 5th year as a touring Savannah band, and 2nd full length recording. The album, named after one of its singles released last November, explores themes of division in society and questions whether our way of life is arrived at organically or part of a grand orchestration. The self-recorded, 11-song collection highlights guitarist Jay Rudd’s speedy flatpicking, violinist Vito Gutilla’s angelic fiddle, Jimmy Wolling’s vintage, aggressive banjo roll, Cory Chamber’s inimitable mandolin, and Katie Rudd’s grounding electric bass. The album is truly a soundtrack for our times that just happen to be ripe with conspiracy and cyclical shifts. Chambers’ effort to create vivid, creative lyrics make the release unprecedented in the world of Bluegrass and beyond. The tour will see the band visiting its favorite places gathered over several years of travel, as well as some new venues that seem to be perfect for a Swamptooth experience.
