Great news! Our first pop up event is going to be on Saturday 13th December 10-12 at 50 The High Street.

SWAG BAG SATURDAY!
Make a note in your diaries! We have teamed up with the wonderful repair cafe at the art bank to make it a real waste saver of a morning! So once you've visited us at number 50, you can wander on down to the Art Bank & bring any of your broken household items from home (including electrical, wooden, mechanical items, jewellery, bags or toys) to get fixed! (Donations welcome towards running costs).
Not only that but we're offering anyone that comes to number 50 a voucher to use at the art bank for a FREE delicious soup and FREE cup of tea (to be redeemed that morning from 11-1pm only).
SWAG mission is much the same as the community fridge. We take waste items that can otherwise be used, then distribute them, via pop up events, at number 50 the high street.
13th December we will distribute unwanted household items, clothes and toys; most of which were heading for landfill as unwanted charity shop stock or items that supermarkets or households no longer need; so would therefore typically throw into the bin. As with the fridge, we suggest a max of around 5 items per person. These will be FREE of charge but we welcome donations towards running costs.
100% of any cash donations received for these items will be divided equally between our charity shop doners & SWAG 😎 👍🏼

Alongside this we will have some household items (see photos above) from the repair shop at the @redbrickbuilding that have been previously broken and then carefully restored, ready to use once again (these items will be exchanged for a donation that will be split 50/50 between SWAG & the repair shop).
We will also have some surplus food to give away to the local community, because we know how much you all love (and deserve ) a tasty treat! ✨💚✨
