SW Fest 2025! Now in its fifth year, SW Fest has grown into one of Southwest Detroit’s most anticipated cultural gatherings - rooted in community, built by local organizers, and powered by the people who live, create, and resist here.
What began as a small neighborhood event has expanded into a full-day festival featuring 48 artists across three stages, over 100 local vendors, live art, youth-led programming, healing spaces, and more. All while staying free, family-friendly, and open to all ages.
SW Fest isn’t about spectacle - It’s about making space for us. For the artists, the families, the vendors, and the youth who make this neighborhood what it is. It’s about showing up for each other and elevating our cultural fabric year after year.
