About this Event
SPECIAL VENUE: PICO XR /ByteDance Office in San Jose
We've received an exciting sponsorship from Pico to host us in their San Jose office. This means all attendees must register by Tuesday 1/20 in order for us to supply Pico with a full attendee list for security purposes. Your name and email will be used for the guest list and required for entry, so be sure that they are correct here on Eventbrite.
Upon arrival, park in the parking lot and check in to the event at the visitor center.
Our featured speaker this month:
🎤 Our speaker this month is Greg Fodor who has over a decade of experience in XR as an engineering lead on both AltspaceVR and Mozilla Hubs. Greg will share the development journey of his latest project, PortalVR, which enables a new way to play any Steam VR title without wearing a headset. We expect that this subject will generate some lively debate around the state of VR, why you would want to play VR games without the headset, and what constitutes an immersive experience.
We'll also likely have a few members fresh from CES to share all of the latest XR news from the show!
