Our featured speakers this month:
🎤 We are thrilled to welcome , CEO of Resolution Games and accomplished entrepreneur in the gaming industry, who will share important lessons on developing for the new MR paradigm in his talk Beyond the Basement: Demeo in Mixed Reality.
🎤 is is a PhD researcher at UC Santa Cruz working on multi-user applications for scientific sensemaking. Currently, on a project supported by the Sloan Foundation, they are on working wildfire mitigation and marine science domains. Samir will discuss design methods on this research - how their team used ShapesXR with UI/UX methods to generate and refine interfaces. He'll also discuss technical approaches and affordances with WebXR-based development as an alternative to Unity, Unreal Engine, or native based development.
