Sven Elze (Berlin) is back in APRIL!CHANGE of location: All in studio12.
In this workshop series we want to connect more with the music and create a strong partnership through the embrace. Realization can be that we both create a new instrument together and an orchestra as a group.
As usual, we will explore special exercises to expand and deepen your understanding of serious playfulness, expression and new sense of musicality.
Friday 26. April from 19-21h
Milonguer@ Special
Posture, embrace, connection, stability, muscle tone, density, stops and flow.
Expanding the space inside the couple to create a smooth base for advanced musical interpretation using simple to more complex steps for the dance floor.
Saturday 27. April from 14-17h
Connection with musicality - Tango & Vals
Circularity, orchestration, phrasing, calmness, repertoire & embellishments.
Understanding the different musical structures (rhythm, melody, phrases, etc) and the connection with your partner to express your ideas within the couple.
Sunday 28. April from 14-17h
Connection with musicality 2 - Tango & Milonga
Keep your milonga easy and groovy, following simple methods. Imitate patterns and accents, then calm down to refresh your excitement. To contrast we will explore the rotational possibilities of the couple for dance floor navigation in the Tango.
