Local author and historian David Rubiales will discuss John Muir and the Great Flood of 1875, which in large part was caused by hydraulic mining on the Yuba River. This flood was the last time that the city of Marysville experienced significant flooding. Join us 150 years after the Great Flood to learn more about this important piece of local history.
