Omiljeni producent vašeg omiljenog producenta, poslednjih godina dom mu je Batuov Timedance, gde u najboljem društvu razvija svoje prepoznatljive stompere, iščašene i nepredvidive, koji osvajaju duhovitošću i širokim rasponom kontrastnih tekstura. Pre par godina konačno pokreće sopstveni lejbl SOSOSO gde istražuje krajnje granice savremene džangl muzike, ritmično svedene a teksturalno i timbralno prebogate.
Kao DJ, Metrist nas vodi u vrtoglavu, idiosinkratičnu vožnju kroz izlomljene ritmove UK nasleđa i funkcionalnog, 'slapping' techna, kao i najoštrijih zvukova globalnog juga.

Since his early rumbling technoid mutations for labels like Fifth Wall Records, Resin, and Where To Now?, Metrist has impressed us with the dynamics of his productions, synthesizing some of the most vital schools of club electronic music. A favorite producer of your favorite producer, in recent years he has found a home with Batu's Timedance, where, in great company, he crafts his distinctive stompers—twisted and unpredictable tracks that captivate with wit and a wide range of contrasting textures. A few years ago, he finally launched his own label, SOSOSO, where he explores the outer limits of contemporary jungle music—rhythmically minimal yet texturally and timbrally exceptionally rich
As a DJ, Metrist takes us on a dizzying, idiosyncratic ride through the broken rhythms of UK heritage, functional, 'slapping' techno, and the sharpest sounds of the global South.
