Sustainable Sewing Workshop July 24 and July 31st 6-9pm
In this workshop, students will get an introduction to machine sewing, and then make a select few household products of choice, including: reusable bowl covers, and a reusable cotton bag for vegetable storage OR reusable canvas lunch bag.
Skills You’ll Learn:
- Threading and setting up a sewing machine and bobbin
- Sewing Machine Operation and Problem-Solving
- Use of sewing tools (shears, seam ripper, tailor’s chalk)
- Marking, pinning, and sewing seams
Class Cost: $115 (materials fee included)
No refunds or makeup classes will be offered for student absences.
Class Size: Min 4/ Max 8
This class needs to meet the minimum enrollment in order to run. Participants will be notified of the status of class the Monday prior to the first session. In case of cancellation, participants can choose another scheduled date if available or request a refund.
Ages: 16+
