"Sustainable September" is the theme at the Adelaide Central Market and we are excited to talk about vegan cooking as it is THE most sustainable of all diets. Learn ideas such as how to source local produce, using wholefoods, package free products, compostable service ware, how to store foods at home and more.
Joining us in the Community Kitchen (located on the ground floor of the Markets close to the Gouger St lift) will be two incredible plant based chefs!
REBECCA STONOR founder of Just Eat Plants, has nearly two decades of experience in plant science and is certified in plant-based nutrition through eCornell University. After a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, she adopted a whole food plant-based diet and lifestyle interventions. Her passion for helping others led her to share her knowledge through public speaking, workplace wellness workshops, and cooking classes. As Doctors For Nutrition's Social Media and Events Lead, Rebecca promotes the benefits of whole plant foods globally through various media platforms
NADIA FRAGNITO is the creator of The Vegan Italian Kitchen and author of two cookbooks 'A Vegan Summer in Southern Italy' and 'Discovering Vegan Italian'. She has been a regular TV guest presenter on Channel 10’s ‘Freshly Picked with Simon Toohey’ and ‘Everyday Gourmet with Justine Schofield’. Nadia is currently working on her next cookbook ‘Natale’, a celebration of Italian festive cuisine, which is set to be released in October this year.
