Join Our Sustainable Rug-Making Workshop Series!

We are thrilled to invite you to our brand-new series of rug-making workshops! Using recycled fabrics and handmade looms crafted from reclaimed wood, we’ll create beautiful, sustainable home rugs together.Thanks to a generous grant from ECCAN, we are launching our very first sustainable rug-making workshops, and we couldn’t be more excited! We believe this is just the beginning of an inspiring new series.

What to Expect

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn basic weaving techniques and use them to craft your very own unique home rug from upcycled materials. Our looms are handmade from recycled wood, and we’ll be sharing how we built them—along with alternative DIY options. Plus, we’ve gathered plenty of fabrics for you to choose from!

How Does It Work?

Each workshop series consists of two sessions (a total of 9 hours), and we ask that you attend both. If you need to arrive late or leave early, that’s okay—just keep in mind that you’ll have 9 hours to complete your rug.

Who Can Join?

This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of experience—whether you’re a complete beginner or have some weaving skills, you’re welcome!

What to BringWe’ll provide all the materials, so you don’t need to bring anything! However, if you have old fabrics or clothes with sentimental value that you’d like to repurpose into your rug, feel free to bring them along.
