POINT OF CHANGE chronicles the first surfers to ‘discover' the Point at Nias Island, Indonesia, and the unintended dramatic consequences that followed. Stumbling across the perfect wave, two surfers start a chain reaction of unintended consequences…

The true story of the first surf pioneers to find and surf ‘the Point’ and the dramatic consequences for them and the people and place. We travel through time and revisit the megalithic island, taking a trip with the first surfers and the never before seen super 8 footage, taking us on an unexpected journey through time and examining what happens when we discover ‘paradise’.

All followed by a Q&A with Director Rebecca Coley and Sustainable PZ on the film, lessons from the past, and how we can create a future that puts people, place and planet first.
