Workshop Description
The ESG Bespoke Training Series is a customized and comprehensive training program designed to meet the specific needs of businesses in Malaysia seeking to enhance their sustainability performance and integrate ESG considerations into their operations. This series is tailored to the unique context, challenges, and opportunities of each industry and organisation, with a focus on practical strategies and best practices for ESG integration and implementation.
Sustainable Supply Chain 101 aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to create sustainable supply chains that drive positive social, environmental, and economic impacts. Through interactive sessions, participants will learn about integrating sustainability into supply chain processes, engaging suppliers, measuring impacts, and developing effective Sustainable Supply Chain (SSC) frameworks.
Workshop Learning Objectives
- Define the principles and concepts of sustainable supply chain and its significance.
- Analyse the impact of supply chain processes on GHG emissions and environmental performance.
- Assess sustainability performance and risks across the supply chain using various tools and methods.
- Prioritize sustainability opportunities and goals for developing a customized SSC framework.
- Integrate sustainability criteria into supplier selection and sourcing decisions.
- Engage and develop suppliers on sustainability issues to drive positive change.
- Manage sustainable contracts and relationships while fostering collaboration with suppliers.
- Measure and report sustainability impacts in the supply chain for stakeholders' transparency.

- Pre-requisite: Participants have a basic awareness of ESG.
- Post-requisite: Participants are encouraged to take up the course on Sustainable
- Procurement after completing this course for a comprehensive understanding of sustainable practices across the entire value chain.
