Interested in how co-housing works in practice? Intrigued by what an earth-sheltered home might look, or feel like, inside? Or wanting an overview of what it is to live sustainably?
Join one of our small group tours, which are led by a resident of the project to give you a personal view on what it’s like to live in this sustainable co-housing project, which is now in its 24th year.
This tour includes a guided walk around the site to learn about our food, water and renewable energy systems, a tour of one of the homes, and a talk on the challenges faced during the build, and subsequent development, of the project.
I and my three friends learned a great deal and we shall remember it always.
It is ideal for those wanting to find out more about sustainability in the home and local communities.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We are 1 mile from Southwell which is served by frequent buses from Nottingham, and a 15 minute taxi from the East Coast mainline stop in Newark. There is enough parking, but please car share where possible.
What should I bring into the event?
Please wear sensible shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. The tour includes a small climb up on our roofs where there is some rough and potentially slippery ground.
What's the refund policy?
Refunds are made if cancellations are made up to 14 days in advance, or we can offer a transfer to an alternative date.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, please let us know of any changes to contact details where relevant (names, and mobile phone number in case of issues on the day).
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
