Our recent sustainable housing tour in Cygnet was so popular and created so much discussion among tour participants, that we're running a sustainable house mini workshop and discussion as a follow-up and to provide the opportunity for more people to get involved. This event will suit anyone who is contemplating building or renovating or is interesting in generally improving housing in the Huon Valley. We will bring in experts on housing climate resiliency and energy efficiency, but we also want to hear your views. The discussion is an opportunity to build a network of interest in this area and to plan initiatives that are aimed at future improvements, whether that is in building or planning legislation and regulation, share-buys of energy efficiency technologies - or other! We'll begin with a recap of the respective strengths of the four buildings we visited on the recent Sustainable House Day, before moving onto a broader discussion.
