About this Event

Galway City Council is delighted to announce a FREE one-day Sustainable Gardening Course run by horticulturist Aoife Munn.

This course will cover planting for pollinators, pond building, vegetable growing, dealing with pests organically, taking cuttings, new thinking in planting techniques and much more.

It will be held on Tuesday the 30th of April from 10am to 4pm in Merlin Woods Community Gardens.

This course is suitable for adults who want to garden for biodiversity but especially Tidy Towns groups, Green Schools coordinators and Allotment Holders. The course is lively and interactive and we will be doing practical work too in the community garden. While we will be inside if there are any heavy showers we may ignore a light passing shower so do dress accordingly please

A light lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when filling out the application form.

A full set of notes will be sent to all participants after the course.
