In this class, Molly will share her decades of experience as a professional gardener for landscapes of all sizes throughout New England. We’ll talk extensively about invasive plants, mulching, pruning, and planting design. We’ll discuss the value of planted garden ecosystems for both human and non-human neighbors and residents. Learn why nectar plants are not enough to support our pollinators. Understand the reality of and how to “Leave the Leaves” and “No Mow May” effectively. Walk away inspired to shrink your lawn and armed with the tools and resources for the task. Students will be invited to share their own gardening challenges for tailored recommendations.
