Rendered CEO Saba Tshibaka:
Saba Tshibaka (@Celestialsaba) is a self-taught professional seamstress as well as a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. She is the creator of Rendered, a sustainable fashion brand dedicated to creating awareness about the dangers of fast fashion and giving her customers more sustainable alternatives. Saba has experience in community grassroots organizing through her history in Black Terps Matter, which is an anti-racist organization she helped found on the campus of the University of Maryland in June of 2020. Through that organization, she worked to combat systemic racism by delivering a list of demands to the University of Maryland’s 2020-2021 administration. HFR Founder Yolanda Marie:
Yolanda Marie—Yani for short— is a Maryland based self-taught artist whose primary mediums are photography, writing, painting and digital art. She is also the co-founder of House of Fluid Reflections(HFR) — a Maryland based arts and wellness collaboration with her husband Shaah. Yolanda hosts artists features, self love photoshoots and arts collaborations through HFR. Her most recent fine art project is Indigo Aura, hand painted collections crafted from second-hand treasures and ingenuity.
