Join Estefania Villaquirán, creator of Natural Integrators, for a fun and creative step-by-step paper-making workshop. You will learn firsthand the techniques of working with recycled materials and pressed flowers to create one-of-a-kind sheets of paper. By repurposing fiber from old books and egg cartons, you will dive into the process of shredding, blending, pulping, screening, dyeing with flowers, draining, pressing, and drying. You will also receive a pre-made card to adorn with pressed flowers, which you will take home, along with your newfound knowledge of papermaking.Through years of experimenting with this technique, Estefania has developed strong skills in the art of making handmade paper cards at home and has made them available to the community. She creates her art pieces by integrating pressed flowers and meaningful typewritten messages. Her workshops focus on promoting mindful attention and presence, enhancing creativity, connection with nature, and relaxation.
