Sustainability Sundays at the Warehouse Café in Digbeth.
Have fun and explore our vibrant city with us by bike.
12-1.30pm — Short Led Ride : Expect a colourful bike friendly route around Birmingham city centre with lots to see. This will be a fun, relaxed ride via quiet roads, shared paths and cycle lanes. Suitable for all bikes and abilities.
Families welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult and able to ride for at least 5miles.
As with all of ecobirmingham's group rides, the pace will be gentle — no one gets left behind.
Post ride fun will continue @ The Warehouse Cafe with The Active Wellbeing Society and others, see you there for a bite to eat and chat about travelling across Birmingham by bike, foot or public transport.
Schedule for every Sunday:
Various activities including repair sessions and pop up share shack 12-4pm
Led Ride - 1 hour 12.30 – 1.30pm to commence from Warehouse Café, Bikes can be provided)
Food available from 12-4pm
Dr Bike/Cycle Fix 12.00 – 2pm
Bikes can also be donated to TAWS new Big Bike Up Cycling Revolution campaign.
Things to remember:
- Please bring a drink, lunch/snacks or some money/bank card to purchase refreshments.
- Remember to dress for the weather — layers are a good idea this time of year as they can be easily removed if you get too warm.
- If you can, it’s a good idea to carry the following items: mobile phone, bike lights, a spare inner tube and puncture repair kit/tools.
- Meeting at the Warehouse Cafe at 12pm for registration and pre ride bike checks, wheels roll 12.30pm
