I love any excuse to get out on the bike. So I've got something in mind that I'd like to give a bash at this year.I would like to organise the Sussex Santa Claus Ride, which will start in Hastings Old Town and Finish on Brighton Seafront.
The idea is to raise money for nominated children's charities.
The route will obviously pass through st Leonards, then Bexhill seafront, Eastbourne, Seaford, Newhaven, and finish in Brighton.
If people are interested I will organise the whole thing. Riders from outside of Sussex will 100% be welcome to join. The only rules are this:
● Be respectful - no dangerous riding. Kids will be watching
● You must dress up as santa
● Pillion riders are welcome
● Each rider donates a minimum £5 for the nominated charity
● Bikes must be road legal to participate
If this gets enough attention and a great turn out I will organise this as an annual event.
