Come along to the 2025 Bee Market and learn all about Bees.
This is an amazing opportunity to meet and socialise with fellow beekeepers, attend talks with distinguished beekeepers, buy equipment from market stands and the auction.
Bees and plants on sale, gardening ideas workshops and much more.
There will be interactive children's activities with the Auction taking place from 2pm.
See below for the itinery of the day.
At 11am there will be a brief talk about 'How to take up Beekeeping' by Malcolm Wilkie who is the Chair of the High Weald Division.
From 12pm there are children's activities including the life inside a beehive, tasting honey from around the world and they get to eat the 'bee eggs, nectar and pollen' this is held by Maggie Pratt from the 'Bee People'.
There will also be another talk from Steve Riley on 'The Honeybee Solution to Varroa....in the South East' Want to know more, make sure you are in Theatre AG02 at 12pm.
From 2pm there will be the amazing auction of bee equipment and accessories in Theatre AG01.
During the day there will be a market place of gifts and treats from the eco, recycling and bee world.Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Entry is £2 per adult, children up to the age of 16 free.
Free parking on site and on side roads.
