83 Gallery is proud to collaborate with Emily Strange in presenting “Survivors,” an art support group dedicated to individuals who have faced trauma in various forms, including addiction, mental illness, or physical and emotional abuse. This group offers a welcoming and empathetic atmosphere where you can express your emotions through painting and discussion. Sharing your personal story is completely voluntary; you can participate at your own comfort level, whether that means contributing a lot or just a little. You might discover surprising abilities in yourself, even if you’ve never painted before, or consider yourself an artist. Together, we will navigate our experiences and provide mutual support within a safe and healing community
