About this Event
An introduction to this brand new programme, set to premiere at Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, which intertwines instrumental and environmental sound worlds. Pedro Rebelo, Lara Weaver and Robert Coleman have composed works that focus on sites from across the counties of Antrim, Donegal and Wicklow, each sensitive to environmental change.
The works cultivate active listening for both performers and audiences — a kind of listening in the field. With open discussion from the composers and highlights from the new works using immersive audio, this event will draw audiences into a unique shared listening experience.
