Families at Kwantlen Park Manor (near Surrey City Centre) risk losing their homes to a redevelopment that will remove affordable housing. This will put more pressure on already stretched schools and hospitals, and cause chaos for these families as they scramble to find new housing.
Union leaders, local politicians, and community members will gather to demand Mayor Locke and City Council put affordable housing, schools, and hospitals before more high-priced developments.
