SURGE LGBTQ+ MONTHLY TEA DANCE PARTYSURGE: Back to School Tea Dance
On Sunday, September 29 from 4-7pm, SURGE: Back to School Tea Dance kicks off the new season of SURGE monthly parties on the Rooftop, celebrates the return of college kids in PVD, and welcomes the crisp autumn air on the Rooftop for a Sunday Funday downtown to benefit Youth Pride RI.
The Rooftop at the Providence G’s monthly LGBTQIA+ Tea Dance is the only one of its kind in New England. It’s a social event that brings all groups of the community together for an afternoon of catching up with old friends, making new ones, and dancing under the sun in the heart of downtown Providence.
Join SURGE host and drag entertainer Ninny Nothin’ for the afternoon (drag performance at 6pm), and vibe to beats by DJ ATorr.

For September, SURGE will be supporting Youth Pride RI as its charity of the month accepting open donations and hosting a raffle for the chance to win multiple items.
Surge is open to the public. 18 to enter, 21 to drink. No Cover and complimentary valet parking, based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
