DESCRIPTION:
Time to get out there and brush up on those surf skills and clean out your sinuses. It is at Middleton so surf should be big, but graded: go out as far as you are comfortable.
This will be a peer paddle. Conditions may be extreme, and no rescues will be attempted in the surf unless it’s life threatening. I’m going out to have a play in my sea kayak, and you’re welcome to join me.
Helmets compulsory, ability to roll not essential but will reduce long, tiring swims back to shore.
Note that ratios/quotas will apply depending on the number of Instructors or Leaders on a trip. We may take pictures of the trip and mention your name on our website. If you have any concerns about this, let the trip leader know.
