Supportive Housing Visit
About McArthur Place

McArthur Place
Serving residents who identify as Indigenous and who would otherwise be experiencing homelessness. McArthur houses individuals with concurrent disorders, ongoing substance use disorders, complex medical and physical needs, palliative participants, and those who frequently utilize emergency services. This site is licenced as Supportive Living and has healthcare staff embedded in the program.
About the site visit:
- Site visits will be in small groups of 8-10 people by registered time and name. Walk ups are available but on a first-come, first served basis if there is space.
- Staff will provide a brief overview of Supportive Housing, describe the unique aspects of the building and the supports offered, and invite guests into the common areas. As we anticipate the building to be fully occupied, we will not be able to provide access to residents' private homes; however, on the off chance there is a vacant suite, we will include it on the visit.
- Please dress warmly as you may need to wait outside until your tour timeslot due to building capacity.
- We also kindly ask guests to remember these are people's homes so please do take any images or approach residents who have a right to privacy but rather direct any questions to onsite staff.
