Join Cristin and Jana for an evening of relaxation and restful sleep. During this workshop Cristin will be guiding the group through a Yoga Nidra meditation with Reiki touch. Jana will be offering Acupuncture during this event to help open the meridian channels to support a more restful sleep. Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation and relaxation technique that induces a state of conscious and deep relaxation. In this practice, participants lie down in a comfortable position while being lead through a journey of awareness focused on the breath, body, and visualizations. The aim of Yoga Nidra is to reach a state between wakefulness and sleep, where the body and mind can relax. This promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It is valued for its ability to reduce stress, enhance creativity, and improve overall sleep quality.
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow, known as Qi. These acupuncture points are located along meridians, which are pathways believed to carry the body's vital energy. The goal of acupuncture is to balance the flow of Qi, addressing imbalances that may cause various physical or emotional issues. Acupuncture is utilized to promote overall wellness, and reduce stress.
