About this Event
The Leicestershire Learning Disability Partnership Board are pleased to present their annual conference 'Healthy Living and Keeping Active'.
The conference is brought to you by self-advocates and professionals, with a target audience of those directly working with people with a learning disability in a support role, such as Support Workers and Registered Managers.
There will be three workshops to attend over the day, covering 'Healthy Eating', 'Keeping Active' and 'Hobbies', to support people to lead healthy and active lives. The sessions will be interactive with practical examples that you can take back into your workplace and share with your colleagues.
Food and refreshments will be provided throughout the day and there will be a number of stalls present that you can browse, with lots of helpful advice and information to support you in you role when working with people with learning disabilities across Leicestershire.
