Supporting Birth For All Bodies

Supporting birth is different for each and every person-- and supporting folks in larger bodies is no different! In this workshop, you will learn the beginnings of the history of fatphobia and how it affects people in the medical system, what diet culture is and what it does to us, some of the challenges that people face when birthing in larger bodies, and have time for practicing skills and question/answer sessions.

Sliding scale tickets are availible. Space is limited! Reserve your spot quickly!

~Important Info~

Workshop will take place in the building's conference room. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and/or snacks.

Parking: when you arrive, please park in the large parking lot on the West wide of the building. You will enter through the doors on the ground level (there are no stairs to this door). You can head straight back, following the signs to the conference room behind the elevator.
