About this Event

Supporting Big Emotions is a skills-based group designed for adolescents ages 11–15 and their caregivers. This program provides a supportive and structured environment where participants will learn practical strategies to identify, express, and manage intense emotions using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)–informed techniques. The group is structured into two concurrent tracks: one group for adolescents and a separate group for caregivers. Adolescents will focus on building emotional awareness, coping skills, and healthy communication, while caregivers will learn effective strategies to support their child’s emotional regulation and skill development at home. Together, both groups work toward strengthening understanding, communication, and emotional resilience.
