– To build your confidence to conduct proactive and purposeful sickness absence meetings with staff.
Content of the session;
• To familiarise with the relevant paperwork including Occupational Health referrals
• To discuss and apply strategies to gain staff engagement and collaboration in working together to improve attendance and identify early signs
• To understand “manager’s discretion” and how to apply in practice
• Equality Act and duty to make reasonable adjustments
• Managing absence during critical illnesses.
