Join the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library in supporting the library at the Truth in Taxation event at the Historic Courthouse in Brainerd. This is our last opportunity to tell the County to fund the library to avoid cutting more open hours and other services.
Crow Wing County commissioners have voted to fund library services at the same level -- the state-required minimum -- for the 11th year in a row. We need your help to avoid a loss of hours and services at the Brainerd Public Library. The county’s Truth in Taxation hearing on Tuesday, December 17th at 6:00pm at the Historic Courthouse is our chance to have our voices heard. Please join us, and write to your commissioner to encourage them to fully fund the library in 2025.
