Can you help? Rockland's Emergency Warming Center (EWC) is a community-led initiative to make sure that anyone in the area can access safe shelter when weather conditions are extreme. We have operated 4 times since beginning in 2023, and offer sleeping cots with clean bedding, meals and snacks provided by local donors, and health and hygiene supplies to guests. We do this in partnership with the City of Rockland, Knox County EMA, and other local nonprofits. We need specific supplies to make it all work! Our current wishlist is posted below. Please bring any items you can donate to the Flanagan Community Center on Friday, January 17th!
Please only donate items on this list. Gift cards to local stores are also appreciated - we can fill in any gaps with that flexibility!
