About the Course
The Supervision groups are for Solo Helpline Counsellors. These fortnightly groups are a kind of ‘peer support team’ for all the counsellors who are doing their bit each month in the Hub. This is a chance to really get to know a group of your fellow volunteers and create a dynamic team where you each bring your work and experience to help, challenge, support and inspire each other! You can fine-tune your counselling skills, revise tricky issues and topics, link in with Youthline’s national network of volunteers, find out more about the community support resources available, brainstorm approaches to challenging scenarios, and start experimenting with other aspects of Youthline’s community work if you want.
Course Duration
Monday Evenings 7:00pm-9:30pm: 26 July to 27 December 2021, 2.5 hour session every fortnight
Who is this suitable for?
The course is open to all helpline counsellors who have successfully completed Transition.
